Some free tools to edit video files, in order to make them playable on compatible devices:
- SUPER (get it from here), to convert all possible multimedia files in a huge variety of formats;
- To convert AVI or MPEG files into 3GP/3GPP format, Nokia offers its
Multimedia Converter (Windows),
freely available from Nokia's homepage for developers.
Using Multimedia Converter you can only perform a format conversion; to cut or edit movies,
you first need to edit the original MPG or AVI files and then convert them.

Once edited and converted, video files can be sent directly to the cell phone
- different phone models offer different ways to send files (infrared, BlueTooth, cable, ...):

documentation available from the manufacturer..
